PRODUCTION
Rekah’s Production Division, which is part of the Vitamed subsidiary, is engaged in the manufacture of prescription and OTC drugs, dermo-cosmetics, vitamins and nutritional supplements.
Annually we produce ~18 million units (on average) and ~280 different products in a variety of production departments (sterile production, pills, liquids, creams and powders).
Our four core areas of production are:
- Steroids
- Antibiotics
- Ophthalmic Products
- OTC Drugs
Our broad portfolio of products addresses a wide variety of therapeutic areas.
We currently have 267 production and import licenses and ~10 additional drugs in the process of registration.
In addition to management of products under the company's brand, the company has PL (Private Label) activity that includes the production and management of unique medical devices, as a private label for a variety of leading pharma companies and healthcare providers, in Israel and around the world. In recent years, the company has expanded its PL operations in the core areas to the global market and its products are currently sold in about ~13 different countries.
Production takes place at two sites:
- The Rekah production site is in Holon in central Israel.
- The Vitamad production site is in Binyamina in northern Israel.
Our manufacturing facilities have GMP licenses in accordance with the requirements of Israel’s Ministry of Health and comply with international quality control standards (GMP, ISO, HACCP).
